The Louis L. Nicoletti Registry

  • Dear Liz and Family,
Due to health reasons, I regret that I was unable to attend the mass for Louis. I am so very sorry for his passing. I have very fond memories of Lou and your whole family that I will treasure. It was always so pleasant when going into General Mufflers and you were all so very supportive of our family, particularly our daughter, Lorine, during her competition! May happy memories comfort you now. I have been, and will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Patricia Ferrara (Guagenti), 11 April 2017

  • To the entire Nicoletti family.....I want to express my deepest and sincerest sympathies on the passing of Louie. He always gave above 100% every day to the people who came to him for service or advise. I’m sure that carried over to family too. One of the kindest and most personable people I have ever met, I have been a customer for over 25 years, and would not think of going anywhere else. Rest in peace Louie and may the good Lord grant your family peace as well.

    Jane Giacondino, 23 March 2017

  • To all the Nicoletti family, my sincerest sympathy. Lou became a friend & classmate of mine in the late 50’s while attending Fairfield Prep. He was a great companion with an easy laugh & wonderful sense of humor. I remember vividly General Muffler on Center St., and his family’s home on N. Cliff. All wonderful memories of him and his family. We would briefly (too briefly) reminisce when I brought my car in for emmissions testing or repair. I’ll miss him, but won’t forget him.

    Rick Quinn, 21 March 2017

I will always cherish the memories of the many times I stood in the store while waiting for my car to be repaired and enjoying the interaction between Louie and the many varied characters who passed through the store. Louie had a great personality and I know there will be an enormous emptiness in our town due to his passing.
