Michael A. Klingloff, age 58 of Shelton, entered into rest on Thursday January 10, 2019 in his home. Mike was born in Derby on July 4, 1960, beloved son of the late Robert F. and Carolyn Johnson Klingloff, and has been a lifelong Shelton resident. He was a mechanical engineer for over 35 years with Sikorsky Aircraft. Mike was a long standing and second generation member of Brownson Country Club where he enjoyed spending time with fellow members and golfers. Throughout his life, he enjoyed golf, bowling, boating, and fishing. More recently, he loved the time he spent with family, including a trip to Florida. He was the cherished brother of Lori Witiak and her husband Peter, and Lisa Jarnot and her wife Robin Mayer. He was the loving uncle of Kimberly Pearson and her husband Michael and their daughter Tessa, Dana Webb and her husband Joshua, Michael Jarnot and his wife Ellie, Zachary Jarnot, and his fiancee Sammantha, and Jake Mayer.
Friends may greet his family on Saturday January 19th from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM in the Riverview Funeral Home 390 River Road Shelton. His funeral service will be held following the visitation at 11:30 am with the Rev. Lucille Fritz, officiating.
