Harley N. Stoleson, age 89, of Trumbull died of Alzheimer’s Disease on Tuesday July 11, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at Gardner Heights. He was the beloved husband of 62 years to Theresa (Banville) Stoleson. He was born on November 17, 1927 in Jefferson, WI the son of the late Theodore and Agnes (Johnson) Stoleson. He served his country as a member of the US Navy and when he returned home he started his career as an Electronics Engineer. He worked for various companies during his career until his retirement. Harley was very passionate about studying fungi. He was a member of the CT Valley Mycological Society. He was also fascinated by electronic gadgets and loved to tinker. He also enjoyed gardening. Harley is also survived by his sons Mark and Scott Stoleson, and his daughter Sherry Reardon. Those who wish may send contributions to the Alzheimer’s Assoc. or send flowers to a shut-in. The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd. Shelton, has been entrusted with his arrangements. A private remembrance celebration will be held at a later date.
